This month we have started a full house re-wire on a very large and very old stately home “St Leonard’s House”. The house dates back to the 16th century, and is currently wired in lead cable. This is a very delicate project as the property is lived in and so will be an interesting challenge.

We have also been at Baytree Cottage in Ridgewell, carrying out a full re-wire due to a fire at the property.

Another electrical project this week has been at Queen’s House in Lincoln’s Inn Field, London – installing new light fittings to the office’s.

The Andrews & Hart rail division have been continuing electrical works on the Docklands Light Railway, as part of an ongoing project. Due to the nature of this work, this has to be done at night when the power to the railway is turned off.

The domestic electrical team have also been busy this week with various mains changes, distribution board upgrades, re-wires and external lighting.
